India Vs England's 3rd test 2018
In a dramatically redemptive session of play, India made up for this
morning's insipid bowling display by picking nine wickets in an extended
session at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Five of those wickets went to
Hardik Pandya in a stunning fulfilment of India's stubborn persistence
with the all-rounder, who rampaged through England's middle-order to
bring up his maiden five-wicket haul.

ENGLAND 1ST INNINGS 161 ALL OUT
Jos Buttler threatened to take it away but...
In a dramatically redemptive session of play, India made up for this morning's insipid bowling display by picking nine wickets in an extended session at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Five of those wickets went to Hardik Pandya in a stunning fulfilment of India's stubborn persistence with the all-rounder, who rampaged through England's middle-order to bring up his maiden five-wicket haul.
It all started with Ishant Sharma early, who hadn't bowled in the morning session at all. Alastair Cook, dropped by Cheteshwar Pujara at first slip, was snaffled next ball by Ishant, who now has the left-hander on ten occasions in Tests. Keaton Jennings fell next ball, it being the first of Bumrah's over, and then Ollie Pope was strangled down leg soon after, paving for England to plummet from 54/0 to 161 all out.
TEA PUSHED BACK
And that's because England are nine down. India have allowed england to get away a bit here. Shami allowed Buttler to flush away a few boundaries and now they aren't keen to bring the field in earlier in the over, and are getting just a single ball at Anderson every over.
Finally England 161 All out ....
INDIA 2RD INNINGS SCORE 352-7 D
ENGLAND 2RD INNINGS SCORE = 317-10
England will come back tomorrow to lose with dignity. One wicket to go, one ball needed and one game to India after the first two fell England's way. But, out of what looks set to be a harrowing defeat, in Jos Buttler, England have a solitary crumb of comfort.
Buttler is a peculiar entity within this side. Relied upon but not trusted. Needed but not necessary. A luxury number six in a team of number sixes.
